As part of our comprehensive dental care service, our oral health therapist performs dental fillings for children and adults. Using advanced dental technology, we remove decayed tooth tissue and fill the cavity with filling materials. We elect to use tooth colour fillings / composite material for its durability and aesthetic value.
We understand that some patients feel nervous about fillings, however, we provide our patients with options that help reduce anxiety and result in fillings that are virtually pain free. In fact, many of our patients are surprised when their treatment is over! We will provide an exact cost for your filling once we complete a full assessment of the health of the affected tooth or teeth. Some child patients may be eligible for bulk billing or payments made under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, however, be sure to ask whether your family is eligible when you book your appointment.

Filling treatment can be daunting, particularly if you are to have more than one filling, but modern dental technology makes fillings a manageable experience. We encourage our patients to share their concerns during the consultation process, so that we can devise a treatment plan you understand and feel comfortable with. Our fully equipped mobile dental van is just like a regular dental clinic, just on wheels, so our patients appreciate access to nitric oxide (laughing gas) to help them manage pain and anxiety during dental procedures such as fillings.
